The Ruff House Dog Park is a partnership between The Friends of Ruff House and Chesterfield County Parks and Rec. The Friends of Ruff House Dog Park is completely made up of volunteers.
The Friends of Ruff House Dog Park is completely made up of volunteers. Volunteers keep the park clean, do repairs, purchase supplies, work events. Whatever your skills, we have a job for you. Please volunteer. We are always short handed.
The Friends of Ruff House Dog Park host three fundraising events every year. Birthday Bash happens in the spring around the birthday of the park. In October we host the Howl-a-woof costume contest. And in early December Santa comes to the park for photos at the Santa Paws event. All events are free and open to all. We sell merchandise, food, and take donations. 100% of the proceeds go towards maintaining and improving the park. We get no funding from the county.
